Scan / Build PDFs

This service is intended for teachers and assistants who prepare and mark exams themselves and do not use AMC or Ans.

It is intended for existing users of this workflow and is limited to courses with more than 100 students according to the migrated CePro documentation.

Two possible workflows​

A. Scan directly after the exam​

CePro scans the paper copies so the teaching team can correct them digitally. Files can be provided as:

  • JPEG: one file per page
  • PDF: one file per student copy

B. Build PDFs after paper correction​

The teaching team corrects the paper copies first. CePro then scans the corrected papers and rebuilds one PDF per student for digital archiving.

What CePro provides​

CePro provides the QR code used to detect the first page of each student's copy, scans the paper copies and either delivers JPEG files or rebuilds the PDFs.

Teachers remain responsible for preparing and correcting the exam.

Registration​

Submit the CePro support request form two months before the end-of-semester exam date and specify which Scan / Build PDFs workflow you require.
