Ans is a SaaS platform used by CePro mainly for open-question paper exams and digital correction workflows.

Access
To use Ans for a CePro-supported exam:
- Ask cepro-exams@epfl.ch to create/activate the required account.
- Open the Ans login page.
- Select Log in with your school account.
- Select EPFL (Entra ID) and sign in with your EPFL account.
- Send CePro the email addresses of the main assistants who need Ans access.
Standard workflow
- Create the course, assignment, questions and grading scheme.
- CePro exports and personalizes the answer books.
- The teacher validates the personalized PDFs before printing.
- Printing is coordinated according to the assigned support level.
- The teaching team collects the printed copies.
- The exam takes place.
- Copies are deposited at the Print Center.
- CePro cuts/scans the papers and imports the scans into Ans.
- The teaching team corrects the exam in Ans and exports the results.
- Paper copies are retrieved from the Print Center when applicable.
